| Pizzas are by far the main attraction at this kid-friendly pizzeria in Cherry Creek North. Angelo's orbs feature thin and crispy crusts smeared with a generous layer of tangy homemade tomato sauce and a blanket of mozzarella cheese. The menu also offers hearty calzones and a slew of pasta dishes. We load up on hefty slabs of lasagna, toothsome ravioli and expansive plates of spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. In fact, the homemade sausages are a delight, although we scratch our heads over garlic-free garlic bread, wilted iceberg lettuce salads and mediocre dressings. A short wine and craft beer list, however, helps right these wrongs and keeps us coming back for more, as does the patio, which teams with families and regulars from the neighborhood. |
