This warhorse remains one of the most popular weekend breakfast spots in town. In addition to serving good eggs and omelets, stars include feather-light Swedish pancakes with tart-sweet lingonberry sauce, dynamite waffles and french toast served with peach compote. Not to be denied are the homemade baked goods: cinnamon rolls, biscuits, muffins and Swedish limpa. But you’ll also have to contend with crowd pleasers, like eggs Benedict. The breads of the day are usually quite good, too. Swedish standards with American touches comprise the lunch menu. There are additional locations on Southport, Broadway and Clark.
