Anthony's Pier 66 Restaurant Review

: Unlike Anthony’s casual and family-friendly siblings, this sophisticated waterfront location is only open for dinner. Looking much like one of the giant cruise ships docked a few piers away, this spot features golden koa wood accents and soaring ceilings. Tall windows frame striking views of the downtown Seattle skyline, Mt. Rainier, the Olympic Mountains and Elliott Bay. We recommend reservations at sunset. Start with cocktails and a tempura seared ahi. Dungeness crab and corn chowder is a crowd-pleaser, as is the Dungeness crab salad. Meat dishes are available, but stick to the seafood. It’s consistently well prepared, like the pan-seared Alaskan true cod or the Northwest duo of Chinook salmon and Dungeness crab cakes. On the shellfish front, try the sea scallops served with Riesling sauce and pan-fried oysters. The wine list offers a range of price points.

We dined at Anthony's Pier 66 on 10 Aug. The meals for 3 of us were good, not great, but good. The 4th was poorly overcooked (scallops). The service was as though we were a gross inconvenience. Had a table with nice view of the railing/parking lot. We were locals trying to take out-of-towners to a nice fish place. Won't do it again. Such poor service. Do you have saucers for coffee cups? May I get a second cup? Perhaps the wait staff is already tired of hearing tourists bitch. At $45-$50 a meal, we could have done much better elsewhere, and so can you.
 
Anthony's Pier 66, Excellent Praws, BAD SERVICE

A friend of mine and I went last Thursday to their advertised all you can eat prawns for $14.99. The prawns were cooked to perfection and were delicious. Its the poor service we received directed by the management of Anthony's that irritated us. Sure they are going to lose some money on an all you can eat affair, but what transpired left a bad taste in our mouths. According to our waiter, the prawns are to be delivered in decreasing amounts at about 10 minute intervals. When two measly Prawns arrived at our table we had to ask what was up? Our waiter discretely told us that it was at the direction of management to provide two prawns at a time within about 10-15 minute intervals. We finally gave up the fight and decided to post our grievance online.
