Aqua Terra Restaurant Review:

A nineteenth-century commercial space with rich textured brick walls provides an attractive home for this small-town bistro in the northern suburbs. A loyal local following comes for the pastas, salads and sandwiches at lunch, and the more substantial dinner offerings. Chef Brian Legault's menu is decidedly American, with such signature dishes as the panko-crusted tomatoes (red ones) with goat cheese and basil yogurt, and vanilla-infused crème brûlée. Comfort food rules in the barbecued pork tenderloin with smoked Gouda polenta and a lovely raisin-studded slaw. Southern nods include fried chicken. Here’s the meal deal: A fixed-price, three-course special for $24.99 that’s offered at dinner. Portions are smaller than if one ordered the dishes independently, but serving sizes are more than ample. If the pumpkin mascarpone bread pudding is offered, don't miss it. The wine list has gotten mundane, sadly, and no longer offers the excitement it once did, but prices are good. Gaps include no rosé and very little non-U.S. wine.
