THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Aqua Vin Restaurant Review:

Tucked away below the south end of the parking lot of Chesterfield Mall, Aqua Vin stretches out from a gas-fed torch through several dining rooms to a patio with a small waterfall. The bar stays busy, but the sound is surprisingly muffled by the time it travels into the other areas. That's fortunate because those who come to dine are mostly suburbanites who prefer conversation and the occasional cell phone call, even at louder-than-living-room levels, to the din on the far side of the glass wall. Chef Brian Menzel’s menu has Mediterranean leanings, so while there's pasta, there also is sea bass in a crown of crispy shaved leeks and redfish served over paella-like rice with mixed seafood. However, the star of the menu has to be the duck drumsticks in pomegranate glaze. The serving of three is big enough to share but so good, one's tempted to hoard it. The wine list is reasonably priced and contains some interesting choices beyond the same old stuff.
