THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Areal Restaurant Review:
The dining room at this sleek, trendy Main Street eatery opens up onto the prominent front patio with comfortable furniture, umbrella-laden tables and sparkling overhead lights. If you must stay indoors, you’ll notice decorative mirrors, an open kitchen and large chandeliers. The menu is thoroughly interesting, exhibiting both Mediterranean and Asian elements. A good tuna tartare, layered over avocado in a neat mold, is plated with herb-dusted lavash and sprinkled with nori powder, while roasted Spanish octopus arrives on a bed of harissa-spiked chickpeas. Pizzas are fired in a wood-burning oven, and ricotta-stuffed squash blossoms are paired with truffled honey. Larger plates include lamb Bolognese, steak frites and a very respectable burger. Desserts include an artistically plated banana cake and whimsical snickerdoodle ice cream sandwich. A global wine list has enough variety to keep one’s attention, and a selection of craft beers and specialty cocktails enhance the mood in the bar. Happy hour is offered daily from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
