Arnie Morton's The Steakhouse Restaurant Review: Because steak maven Arnie Morton's son Peter had already used the family name for his trendy West Hollywood restaurant, this branch of the nationwide steakhouse chain created a unique name to distinguish itself when it came here in the late '80s. At this location centered in Burbank's Media District, the steaks are the same aged Prime you'll find elsewhere, complete with tableside presentation. We like the classic steak cuts like a New York strip or porterhouse for two, but you may start with lobster bisque, escargots, an ahi tower or oysters Rockefeller. Soufflés must be ordered in advance --- chocolate is a favorite --- and there's also Key lime pie and upside-down apple pie. The wine list is a behemoth, with worldly selections and a notable Cabernet Sauvignon collection from California. |
