Artu Restaurant Review: At this small gem in the North End you will discover a reasonably priced Italian rosticceria menu of basic meats, panini and antipasti offered with Tuscan simplicity. The grilled seasonal vegetables are no frills but enjoyable while the penne puttanesca delivers a good kick of spices to complement the capers, tomatoes, olives and anchovies. The sweetness of sautéed shrimp is complemented by a garlic sauce tossed with calamari, mussels, clams and plum tomatoes. There is a nice selection of wines from Italy, New Zealand and California (to name a few) available by the glass, bottle or half bottle. For lunch, don’t miss the panini made with rotisserie beef, pork loin, chicken and sausages.
