Asian Palace Restaurant Review:

Located in an area of Summer Avenue best known for shopping centers and gas stations, this authentic Chinese restaurant blends in with its surroundings. But once inside, you’ll want to fill your table with the kitchen’s many Cantonese and Mandarin delights. The cavernous space, peppered with standard Asian restaurant décor (dragons, Buddhas and Lucky Cat statues), holds plenty of tables, so there’s room for large groups in this casual dining room. The menu includes sizzling scallops with black pepper, sliced abalone with sea cucumber, and barbecued pork with string beans. Vegetarians should note that many of the tofu dishes also contain meat, but that's common in Chinese cooking, and there are some meat-free selections. Dim sum is offered daily, as are $5.25 lunch specials.
