Asian Palace Restaurant Review: Located in an area of Summer Avenue best known for shopping centers and gas stations, this authentic Chinese restaurant blends in with its surroundings. But once inside, you’ll want to fill your table with the kitchen’s many Cantonese and Mandarin delights. Consider the sizzling scallops with black pepper, sliced abalone with sea cucumber, and barbecued pork with string beans. Daily dim sum often includes chicken’s feet, taro cakes and shrimp-stuffed tofu. Vegetarians should note that many of the tofu dishes also contain meat, but that's common in Chinese cooking, and there are meat-free selections. Dim sum appear as $5.25 lunch specials, too.
