Lure Launches Weekend Brunch
Lure, Atlanta's exciting new seafood restaurant, is now offering brunch Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Look for such dishes as the classic Hangtown Fry, a version that packs egg crêpes with leeks and spinach, and tops it all with a fried oyster. Chef Shuffle

Woodfire Grill in Atlanta Bernard Moussa and Nicolas Quinones, co-owners of Woodfire Grill, have lured Tyler Williams away from Abattoir to serve as executive chef of the restaurant that Michael Tuohy and Kevin Gillespie put on the culinary map. Also a former sous chef of Bacchanalia, Williams has worked his way across the country in such notable operations as Genoa in Portland, Ore., and Chicago restaurants Moto, graham elliot and Gemini Bistro. Williams will adhere to Woodfire Grill's tradition of working with local farmers and creating the restaurant's daily menu based on what's in season. Dinner Tues.-Sat. Joshua Hopkins has been named executive chef of White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails, which opened in July 2012. Hopkins was formerly chef de cuisine at Bacchanalia, partner and executive chef at Abattoir, and most recently, executive chef at STG Trattoria. Hopkins learned his craft, especially his French fundamentals, at the Capital City Club with chef Christian Chemin. Later with Maverick Southern Kitchens in Charleston, SC, he worked at Slightly North of Broad and was sous chef at High Cotton. White Oak Kitchen & Cocktails offers a menu of regional dishes, including such rarely seen treats as pencil cob grits and roasted pheasant. Lunch Mon.-Fri., Dinner nightly. With an ever-expanding line-up of restaurants to oversee, Ford Fry called for help, and E.J. Hodgkinson answered the call, taking over as executive chef at JCT. Kitchen & Bar. The Dreamland Bar-B-Que restaurant location in Peachtree Corners caught fire just as the dinner service was beginning on Wed., January 16, 2013, and the building was a total loss. Apparently, a neon sign left in the attic by a previous tenant of the building caused the fire. No one was injured. Plans call for a complete rebuilding of the restaurant, which is one of the corporate-owned locations. Dreamland Bar-B-Que is based in Birmingham, Ala.
