Norcross Dreamland Bar-B-Que to Relocate
Dreamland Holding Company will look for an alternative location as they plan to rebuild their Norcross branch of Dreamland Bar-B-Que (5250 Peachtree Pkwy.), which suffered a fire on January 16, 2013. The event was ruled accidental by fire investigators. Lease terms negotiations between the company and the property owner could not reach a mutually agreeable conclusion, according to the restaurant's web site.

Mixing It Up at Seven Lamps
Well-regarded mixologist Arianne Fielder has departed Seven Lamps and now is headed to Article 14 to update its cocktail menus. Also departing is Leo de Rivera, who will tend bar at the Glenn Hotel before reporting with Fielder to Article 14. Legacy Restaurant Partners owns the hotel and Article 14. Lunch & Dinner daily. Seven Lamps, Shops Around Lenox, 3400 Around Lenox Rd., Atlanta, GA 30326, 404-467-8950.

Chef Shuffle

With a view toward writing a cookbook, David Sweeney, who once owned his own establishment, Dynamic Dish, left his most recent post at The Bakery at Cakes & Ale. With that departure, owner Billy Allin slightly renamed the sibling to his Cakes & Ale restaurant as The Cafe at Cakes & Ale. Sweeney's popular grain bowls are now gone from the menu, but we're told they will be back, albeit reformulated. The Cafe at Cakes & Ale, 151 Sycamore St., Decatur, GA 30030, 404-377-7960.

Local pastry maven Taria Camerino brings her sweets to Miso Izakaya in the Old Fourth Ward. Camerino crafts house-made ice creams and sorbets, such as honeydew melon sorbet, and a version of cheesecake that unites the classic American dessert with a lighter Asian notion and puts it on a plum base. The treats are so popular they frequently are gone by the weekend, so go early in the week if sampling the full range is an objective. Dinner Mon.-Sat.. Miso Izakaya, 619 Edgewood Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA 30312, 678-701-0128.
