The Atoll Restaurant Review: By nature, The Atoll, located in the Catamaran Resort Hotel, caters to many conventioneers and tourists. What local families should know, however, is that this is an ideal place to take the children for unpretentious waterfront dining. Enjoy crab cakes or sesame chicken wraps to start. Hearty entrées include apple wood-smoked pork chops with polenta, grilled rib-eyes, roasted duck or a filet mignon with Gorgonzola butter. Desserts are not a particular high point, but they run the gamut --- from crème brûlée to cheesecake and tiramisu. Leisurely patio lunches are a nice way to enjoy fresh salads and the bay breezes. Sunday brunch brings traditional breakfast fare, seafood and the made-to-order-sushi bar. Happy hour means mai tai's and sunny views. Moray’s Lounge gets busy on the weekends and offers live piano music on Saturday nights.
