Audubon Circle Bar Restaurant Review: This Kenmore Square hangout is more than just an average bar. The menu ranges from Mediterranean to Asian to classic American dishes. Start off by pairing a glass of Chardonnay with white bean purée and crunchy grilled bread. Try the pot sticker box or the marinated grilled skirt steak tacos. Don’t miss the crispy duck leg salad with arugula, walnuts and a sage vinaigrette. Entrées include pan-seared Atlantic salmon with spätzle and Brussels sprouts, and porcini-rubbed rib-eye with confit fingerling potatoes and asparagus. There is also a nice variety of panini. While dessert is limited to just one offering, the rich chèvre cheesecake with Oreo crumbs is worth the indulgence. The casually designed, minimalist restaurant has exposed brick walls and a freestanding common table. |
