| Audubon Circle Bar offers a nice respite from the area’s casual ballpark eats, and the menu offers American, Mediterranean and Asian cooking with flair. Grab a cold draft microbrew or spicy margarita with habanero infused tequila and snack on a pot sticker box or basket of steamed vegetable dumplings. Salads range from a grilled chicken with lemon cilantro dressing to local burrata and lobster with English peas and frisée. Seasonal entrées may include pan-seared salmon with spring vegetable ragoût or porcini rubbed rib-eye, confit fingerling potatoes and asparagus. A variety of panini is available too, such as the caprese with mozzarella, eggplant and red pepper aïoli. Dessert is limited to the chèvre cheesecake with Oreo crumbs, worth the extra calories. The casually designed, minimalist restaurant has exposed brick walls, an angular bar and a freestanding common table. |
