| Set in the former Limelight space, which is also the site of a long gone church, this Flatiron District club has all the typical trappings: the velvet rope (and obligatory tough doorman), the celebrity buzz, the internationally known DJs, the pricey cocktails, and the hefty cover charge (expect to pay between $20-$30). But it also has a dazzling interior (complete with neo-Renaissance arcades, stained glass, thick stone walls and high ceilings), one of the city's best sound systems, enough flashing lights to make you think you're a rock star, a huge dance floor, and stronger-than-usual drinks. It's all enough for the clubbers to get down on their good foot and pray. |
