Avec Nous Restaurant Review

: Avec Nous, a French bistro, took over the space of LIVELLO at Viceroy L'Ermitage Beverly Hills following a major renovation. The restaurant is helmed by chef Olivier Quignon (former executive chef of Bar Boulud in New York). Neutral tones, low lighting, elegant but comfortable seating, a fireplace and an eclectic soundtrack set the scene to experience the bistro-like French menu with refined technique. The quaint bar and lounge offer the full menu. In addition to dinner, a daily brunch features breakfast items, sandwiches and dinner menu selections. Chef Quignon, a master at charcuterie, takes pride in his French heritage but has been seduced by the cornucopia of California fresh vegetables. Expect market-driven items to appear on a regular basis. Heirloom beet soup, an elegant tuna crudo and a tasty grilled foie gras a l'orange get things started alongside the bubbles cart. Chef won't want you to pass up his burger, as well as an artist palette of a sea scallop dish that keeps the diner entertained. Wines focus on the Mediterranean regions, with guest appearances from the Jura and California. Hungry for a signature côte de bœuf for two served tableside? To end things, Quignon will propose French cheese or some of his sweet creations: a light amaretto îles flottantes, blood orange sorbet and hazelnut napoleon. Wait! The mignardises cart composed of boozy Sugarfina treats makes for a wow moment. Experienced director of restaurants Conrad Reddick (Charlie Trotter's, Alinea) leads a dedicated team that wants to blend kitchen and dining room operations seamlessly.
