If it weren’t for the maddening inconsistency of the food, we’d be happy to give The Avenue Grill a higher rating. Still, the ambience is fun and fast-paced, and the good dishes outnumber the indifferent ones. You might be seduced by beer-battered prawns, plump and juicy barbecued baby back ribs, and rib-eye steak with garlic mashed potatoes. Then your palate might be sorely disappointed by some of the overcooked grilled items.
