Avli River North is led by Greek American chefs John Boudouvas (Francesca Group, Mia Figlia) and Billy Alexopoulos (Maple & Ash, Etta) under chef and managing partner Louie Alexakis, the same team behind the popular Avli Taverna in Lincoln Park and Avli Estiatorio in Winnetka. The contemporary Greek experience highlights dishes like honey and fig saganaki, pork souvlakia and house-made gyro sandwiches. Curated wine selections hail from Northern Greece, Southern Greece, central Greece, and the Aegean Islands. Come warmer weather, the bi-level space will open up a 56-seat patio.
