THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED 100 Montaditos Restaurant Review:

“What’s a montadito?” you’re probably asking. Good question. For those who haven’t spent a lot of time in Spain, montaditos are tiny sandwiches made with various savory and sweet ingredients, little snacks to munch on while sipping beer or sangría. And as the name of this Greenwich Village restaurant suggests, there are 100 on its menu. Ranging from $1 to $3, the best sandwiches are the simple ones. Stay away from the hot dog (which is just a mini version) and the Philly cheesesteak and get anything with Brie on it. The pulled pork montadito is addictive. And it all tastes so much better when drinking a glass of Estrella beer. The décor is homey as the walls are crammed with old framed photos, but the atmosphere is ruined by the announcements that one’s food is ready, which are blasted through a PA system.
