Tucked in the lower level of a spiritual center that offers massage, meditation and yoga, 24K Chocolate Cafe offers well-crafted dishes in an eclectic setting. The center --- Ancient Future --- is housed in a former church, and diners will be surrounded by a tranquil courtyard garden, stained glass windows and a children's stage. The brunch menu includes both sweet and savory creations, the namesake ingredient peppered throughout: chocolate pull-apart with or without bacon, a chocolate and blue cheese tasting plate, and Mayan chocolate hazelnut french toast. Lunches include a pea and beet sprout kale salad and croque monsieur, while dinners include curry chicken with bacon and lentils, and black bean, chile and mole hand pie. Take home a sample of house-made truffles, enjoy the regular live music or partake of one of the regular special events; past offerings have included a tea tasting paired with food.
