THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED 3 on Fourth Restaurant Review:

THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Canadian chef Daniel Snukal, who has experience in the U.S. as a private chef and caterer, took over the former Rocca space and transformed it into a contemporary restaurant. His menu represents the cooking of Europe, America and Asia (hence the name), ideally paired with their traditional partners of wine, beer or saké. His simple, modern cuisine utilizes farmers market produce, and the menu changes daily depending on his findings. Appetizers may include toro tartare, a tasty onion tart with goat cheese and black truffle, or a takeoff on frisée aux lardons where the lardons have been replaced by fried duck or squid. Among the diverse offerings to follow are a veal burger, Alaskan halibut with mustard vinaigrette, a short rib stew or crispy branzino. Truffle french fries, sautéed haricots verts and fried eggplant serve as sides. Desserts like a yogurt bavarois, mascarpone cheesecake, and Maytag blue cheese with honeycomb and anise biscotti make light finales. The sparsely decorated, gray-hued room features cozy leather booths, modern light fixtures hanging from a high ceiling, and a marble-topped communal table. The wine list includes some interesting global selections, and the beer menu has a wide range of artisanal brews.
