360 Bar & Dining Restaurant Review:

Well-named, 360 Bar & Dining does indeed give a complete view of Sydney and its surrounds as it slowly revolves during a meal. Floor-to-ceiling windows, hand-carved panels and pendant sculptures transform this restaurant at the top of the iconic Sydney Tower into an elegant and romantic hideaway in the sky, giving an illusion of floating on the clouds. The contemporary menu offers something for everyone. Groups can choose from their own menu; head chef Elton Inglis offers a six-course dégustation available with or without matched wines. At lunch or dinner you could begin with Alaskan king crab, fennel, chili, pomelo and coconut pangrattato, followed by braised lamb belly, crumbed cutlet with broad beans, or master Kobe strip loin, wrapping up the meal with rhubarb cheesecake and almond praline with ginger ice cream or perhaps a cheese plate. Or, to take another turn past the city, perhaps you’ll need the 360 dessert platter for two, a selection of the five desserts on the menu. Choose from the extensive international wine list or start or finish the night with a selection from the 360 Bar’s array of wittily named cocktails.
