4 Saints Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: The Rowan Palm Springs, part of the Kimpton family of hotels, has elevated the city's dining scene --- literally --- with its swanky and sexy rooftop restaurant.

Likes: The rooftop location.
Dislikes: Limited menu.

Food & Drinks: The focus, like at many restaurants these days, is a menu of shareable, seasonal and savory food; it’s delightful, and along with the setting creates an ideal balance for an evening of grazing. Be prepared to pass the plate with such starters as Dungeness crab with avocado, snap pea, poppy seed and added zest from local grapefruit. Sea urchin tofu consists of a green apple-coriander salad with squid ink-black sesame crisp. Entrées are somewhat limited, but no less flavorful. Wild boar with a red wine-grain mustard is an interesting dish. There are a handful of desserts, including a seasonal sundae with raspberry, hibiscus, basil and vanilla all married in flavor. Wine and cocktails flow from above the desert floor and the best time of day to arrive is near sunset.
