THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Alana's Restaurant Review:
Chef Alana Shock and her husband Kevin Bertschi preside at this cozy restaurant, which specializes in food and wine pairings. A concise menu changes almost daily; the only constant is that there's almost always a good risotto of the day. For the rest, count on Asian-inspired dishes like grilled kimchi crab cakes with taro chips and a sriracha tartar sauce; seasonal fare like cassoulet of confit duck, wild boar, sausage and Bluescreek smoked ham; and hearty vegetarian entrées (we recommend the wild mushroom bolognese with rustichella spaghetti, which can be prepared vegan). The extensive wine list isn't captive to the same old California Cabs and Chardonnays.
