Aurea Restaurant Review:

Curvy ultra-modern couches and other accents offset stout square columns and a Tiffany-style stained-glass ceiling dome in the Stanford Court San Francisco’s roomy, lobby-level restaurant and lounge, serving breakfast and, in the evening, cocktails and light dinner fare. A large full bar attracts an international crowd for California-centric wines, classic cocktails and beers on tap. Despite multiple flat-screen TVs and the constant transit of hotel guests, the room is welcoming and the service is noticeably heartfelt: it's in a hotel, but they make you feel at home. At breakfast, Aurea's lemon-soufflé pancakes --- served with pine nuts, fresh raspberries and raspberry jam --- are a good bet.
