Bar VIA Restaurant Review:
Bar VIA inside the boutique Hotel VIA across from AT&T Park baseball stadium (home of the San Francisco Giants) offers upscale California dining and drinking, with local craft beers, wines and handcrafted cocktails. Seafood is a focus, with a raw bar, crudo and sashimi plates, as are seasonal dishes featuring local ingredients. On game days, the bar opens from 11 a.m. and serves stadium-inspired bites and libations. Chef de cuisine is Leo Batoyon (AL's Place). At the top of the hotel, Rooftop at VIA has the only rooftop lounge in SoMa, with panoramic views and plenty of private event options.
