Barcelona Restaurant & Wine Bar exudes warmth, with sturdy wooden seating and dark leather booths. Its Spanish-Med menu features an extensive selection of tapas. These small plates are exactly that and meant to be shared, so ordering several is key. A chef's selection of four tapas --- ideally the mahi mahi ceviche, the artichoke escabeche, poached white asparagus and house-made burrata --- will provide a nice introduction, as will the albondigas (spiced meatballs). Those looking for larger portions should give the squid ink fideos a try. With more than 30 wines by the glass and an emphasis on some of the more obscure Spanish and Latin varietals, the wine list is worth a serious look, too. The array of wines makes the dessert list even more tempting; pair a cava with the seasonal fruit crisp, or stay true to regional options and go for the creamy flan Catalan.
