This festive, casual restaurant serving typical Italian fare draws in Mount Kisco locals who come for the reasonable prices and family-friendly atmosphere (a separate “Kids’ Side” keeps rising noise levels at bay). A glass front exterior with green and beige-striped awning and an animated scene within have an almost 1950s style diner feel. The menu, inspired by chef and proprietor Isi Albanese’s hometown in Reggio Calabria, features everything from homemade soups like peasant butternut squash and vegan lentil to oven-baked pizzas such as a pie with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers and onions in a light tomato sauce. One of the salad options allows diners to choose everything from vegetables to dressing. If the mood calls for something on the meatier side, check out the chicken Parmigiana served with pasta and salad. The restaurant also offers gluten-free and kids’ menus. An array of gelati for dessert adds to the appeal.
