THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Big Bob Gibson Bar-B-Q Restaurant Review:
Venturing for the first time outside of its home state of Alabama, Big Bob Gibson’s Monroe branch is a little more upscale than its siblings. Tender and juicy pulled pork is the menu highlight, but there’s something for everyone. On the chicken platter you’ll find a quarter of a chicken served with Bob Gibson’s signature white sauce, created especially to accompany chicken, and a choice of two sides. We recommend the kettle-baked beans and vinegar-dressed coleslaw. A baked potato loaded with toppings and choice of smoked meat makes for another interesting option. House-made lemon icebox, coconut cream and chocolate cream pies are available every day. Unlike its Alabama siblings, this location features a full bar, offering spirits, beer and wine.
