THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Bin 38 Restaurant Review:

Offering 35 craft beers and over 50 wines by the glass, Bin 38 is a rollicking wine bar, often packed to the gills on Thursday and weekend nights. Young, well-to-do Marina dwellers crowd the narrow bar up front or gather in large groups on the spacious back patio. As a restaurant, Bin 38 caters best to those who want a snack or two to accompany their libations. The eclectic, wine country-inspired menu has a few stars. An appetizer of baked feta with strawberry-onion jam is surprisingly addictive when accompanied by a glass of Prosecco, while nicely charred broccoli and cauliflower with herb butter and bread crumbs and steamed mussels with a delicata squash broth stand up to a hearty white. A few dishes lacked panache, such as overly sweet honey-glazed lamb ribs and a dessert of chocolate pudding reminiscent of Jell-O, but overall, the offerings at Bin 38 are a good starting point to what could shape up to be a fun evening.
