Boudin SF Restaurant Review:

What began as only a bakery in 1849 is now a chain of cafés featuring its own San Francisco Sourdough breads. Ordering at the counter gives everyone the chance to peruse the beautiful golden loaves in all their various shapes and sizes. A wide range of sandwiches, rich and tangy Caesar salads with crisp romaine lettuce, green salads and sometimes pizzas make up most of the small menu. The star item is surely the steaming clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl. This location only offers outdoor seating, while most locations around the city offer both indoor and outdoor options.
