Cafe Luluc Restaurant Review:
With a pressed-tin ceiling and plenty of mirrors, this casual Carroll Gardens bistro is a cozy place to enjoy accessible French fare. Escargots come in a shell and are as garlicky and buttery as they should be, while the chunky crab burger is topped with a ginger sauce. Sandwiches are heartily prepared --- the Luluc cheesesteak, for example, is crammed with large chunks of Angus beef, provolone cheese and caramelized onions. Much like the diners, the atmosphere is very casual. Racks of magazines encourage lingering, but the hardwood chairs keep it to a minimum.
