THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Caffe Pranzo Restaurant Review:

Tucked away in a retail strip center, Caffè Pranzo is not the kind of place you find accidentally. Once you've stepped inside, though, it’s easy to imagine you’re walking through an outdoor café in Italy, where you're warmly greeted by a waving proprietor, smiling through the dust bowl of flour that's used for his homemade pasta. Attentive service and reasonable prices are the hallmark of this neighborhood favorite, where every meal starts with warm bread and a tangy, textured Italian condiment that keeps you dipping for more. Start with a cup of minestrone, followed by any of the pasta dishes. We like the formaggio ravioli, tender ravioli stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, then topped with a tomato-Alfredo sauce. Marinated roasted half-chicken and the veal Marsala are standouts. Lunch selections include hefty sandwiches and brick-oven pizza. For dessert, order the tiramisu.
