THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cindy's Backstreet Kitchen Restaurant Review:
Chef Cindy Pawlcyn (Mustards) uses Backstreet as her home-away-from-home kitchen. Regulars come to relax after work with a cocktail from an impressive drinks menu, and to chow down on wood-oven mushroom potpie, fish ‘n’ chips with dill cucumbers and tartar sauce, rabbit tostada or the Backstreet burger with the works, house-made pickles and Dutch-style french fries. Also irresistible: seared ahi with sweet pea hummus and Moroccan-spiced oil paired with bubbly at the bar, or the stuffed piquillo peppers with cumin-braised beef and charred tomato salsa enjoyed with a local draft beer. The wine menu proudly offers Napa Valley’s best. Save room for the warm upside-down pineapple cake, drizzled with rum-caramel and served with ice cream. Cindy's is a neighborhood place to let one’s hair down while enjoying fine, eclectic cuisine.
