THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Cody's La Jolla Restaurant Review:

Cody's is housed in a renovated 1920's cottage located right above the scenic La Jolla Cove. Out-of-town guests are hypnotized by the palm-lined ocean park and azure ocean home to frolicking sea lions and local swimmers. Request a seat on the west deck for the best views. The menu includes updated California-American fare such as vegetable-laden salads, crispy crab cakes and a “serious” BLT --- plenty of crispy bacon, smashed ripe avocado and house-made aïoli on a freshly baked ciabatta bun. For breakfast, we like the french toast made with locally produced Bread & Cie challah, as well as the fluffy omelet of wild mushrooms, baby leaf spinach, tomatoes and Sonoma chèvre. At lunchtime, we go for the thick, juicy burgers accompanied by fresh-cut onions rings, or the fish ‘n’ chips. Mahi mahi tacos with chipotle cream are another compelling bite. Both Cody's blueberry-basil spritzer and pomegranate mimosa are nice refreshers while enjoying the view.
