THIS RESTAURANT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED The Comus Inn at Sugarloaf Mountain Restaurant Review:
This picturesque setting makes for memorable family meals, wedding receptions and anniversary parties. But if you simply want a good view coupled with some high-class fare---even a burger---the inn should be part of your regular dining-out forays. Yes, it’s a bit pricy, but the revamped menu with its emphasis on casual American fare makes this a fine-dining destination. Lunchtime includes a burger with apple wood-smoked bacon, the crab cake BLT, smoked turkey Cobb salad, and---for a bit of hominess---meatloaf. Dinnertime yields heartier entrées, many with a Latino touch, including grilled ancho-citrus rubbed hanger steak and cumin-and-coriander dusted tuna loin. The lavish brunch offering will satisfy even the fussiest eater, with such choices as chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy, and eggs Benedict.
