Cousins Maine Lobster Restaurant Review:

Cousins Sabin Lomac and Jim Tselikis, who grew up together near Portland, Maine, bring ultra-fresh Maine lobster (flown in daily) to the streets of Los Angeles with this deluxe food truck. Cousins conveniently sidesteps the mayo-versus-butter controversy that rages back home by offering both. The Maine lobster roll is filled with sweet, tender meat, tossed in mayo and served chilled in a New England-style roll. But the Connecticut version, enjoyed warm with butter and lemon, is no slouch either. Other regional treats include a satiny lobster bisque, lobster or shrimp tacos, a Maine crab roll, New England clam chowder, and even lobster ice cream. New England favorites like Cape Cod potato chips, whoopie pies and Maine root soda round out a menu usually found only in Wiscasset or Kennebunkport.
