THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Crazy Johnnie's Steak House Restaurant Review:

Crazy Johnnie’s started out more than 20 years ago as a suburban barroom running a serious special of low-priced steaks cooked on a backyard grill --- sold at cost ($5). They can’t do that anymore, but today, the steaks and prime rib come in at about half the price of the high-end steakhouses. Appetizers include an Italian stuffed artichoke and a hearty gumbo that’s full of shrimp or sausage. This place also offers a little-seen filet mignon po' boy sandwich. Desserts are ordinary, except, of course, for “Johnnie’s special coffee,” with four liqueurs and whipped cream. The wine list is limited, but on Tuesdays all bottles are half price. The spiffy interior includes café chairs, bare-top Formica tables, brick and low ceilings.
