THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Crow Bar and Kitchen Restaurant Review:

Surrounded by brick walls, bright lights and the constant hum of people enjoying themselves, Corona del Mar’s The Crow Bar and Kitchen provides a rollicking ambience that effortlessly attracts the cool crowd. The menu works in sync with this vibe, utilizing simple, local and fresh ingredients for items that at once feel familiar and exotic. This unique compositional marriage is evident in dishes such as the sausage trio with fresh baked pretzel; kitchen sink salad with corn, tomato, bacon, sunflower seeds and avocado; Atlantic salmon with veggie succotash; and the jalapeño bacon mac 'n' cheese made with penne pasta. The creativity continues through the end of the meal, highlighted by a Hawaiian roll bread pudding. The venue's massive inventory of adult libations skews heavily toward local craft and highly sought after foreign beers, although the wine list does a solid job of representing different global appellations. Returning guests will want to hang on to their receipts from previous visits, as the slip of paper contains a code that grants them access to a secret menu of clandestine goodies.
