Curry Up Now Restaurant Review:

In a classic tale of San Francisco foodie entrepreneurship, Curry Up Now graduated from one lone food truck to five, and now has four fixed restaurant locations, including this one in San Francisco. The casual counter setting is as bright and cheerful as the concept's neon detailed chalkboard. Indian street food comes fast and flavorful, and vegan and gluten-free options abound. For a tasting experience, try the eight-item thali platter, or choose from specialties such as deconstructed samosas with a choice of fillings atop a layer of pastry crust paired with quarter-size mini samosas. For a bit of crossover Indian food, consider the best-selling chicken tikka masala burrito, available with a whole-wheat tortilla and brown rice. Three types of mango lassi are available self-serve-style, and don't miss the ultimate Indian donut dessert, gulab jamun, sold on their own or, as we prefer, as "Hot Balls On Ice" with a heaping scoop of kulfi.
