Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant: This Del Frisco’s (unlike its cousin a few blocks away) attracts high-end diners looking for a meal in sleek quarters. And no wonder that power brokers gather here to treat themselves and clients to a pricey meal. Even at lunchtime business folk flock in, so make a reservation and ask for upstairs seating to avoid the bar scene downstairs.

Food & Drinks: Lunches offer a limited number of dishes: start with the topnotch Shanghai-style fried calamari and then try a three-course business special with the choice of filet medallions, salmon or sautéed chicken piccata. Aim for the steak choice because, as expected, steaks are the menu’s focal point and they are cooked to order. Besides, the meat is very tender. Dinnertimes are for the all-out splurges, however, when cocktails and caviar can launch steak or seafood entrées, including a broiled lobster tail or a 24-ounce prime porterhouse. Go for one of the fancy cocktails and certainly peruse the wine list. At busy times, service can be slow, so be prepared for a possible wait.
