THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED d'Vine Wine Bar & Shop Restaurant Review:
Wine enthusiasts have more room to work in at the expanded d’Vine Wine Bar & Shop. Regulars come and enjoy reading a book after work while savoring a favorite wine or exploring a new one. Beers are not overlooked either. D’Vine also is a good source for top-drawer Kosher wines. But the main draw is the inventory of 500 wine choices, some 60 of which are offered by the glass. The light tapas, the most expensive of which is a pair of lamb chop lollipops for $11 or four for $19, pair easily with wine. Pure lump crab meat shapes Maryland-style crab cakes, in deference to owner Bob Leavey’s hometown (Baltimore). Other dishes vary from simple meze and cheese platters to panini (we like the d’Vine panino with its layers of cheese, cured meats and fresh basil) and flatbread “pizzas” (catch the fig and prosciutto). Also available are Georgia-produced condiments and sauces from such suppliers as Prissy’s of Vidalia and Emily G’s.
