You can’t miss this brightly painted restaurant in downtown Bradley Beach with surfer "tude" and its own “cuisine” called “TropiCali,” a clever composite word combining Southern California, Latino, island and Pacific Rim --- all elements to be found in a “mondo” menu of wraps, burritos, tacos, salads, "Finchiladas," smoothies and more. The feel is young and laid back; the food fresh but not especially generous. Still, the prices are good and the service comes with a smile. The menu is vegetarian friendly and offers gluten-free options. All salads are served with warm flour tortillas and crispy tortilla strips; dressing options include fat-free and low carb. A Tiki taco, teriyaki-seared tuna, seaweed salad and Mandarin sesame slaw, makes a tasty lunch; Tahitian fish ‘n’ chips of coconut sesame tilapia fingers with a wasabi passion dipping sauce is a nice dinner appetizer. You can eat in, take out, or opt for beach delivery.
