THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Fitler Dining Room Restaurant Review:

Fitler Dining Room aims to elevate the neighborhood storefront restaurant to a new level by combining the look of a French-style bistro with a seasonal American menu. The windowed-corner spot features subway tiles on the walls, wooden tables with crisp white napkins and Bentwood chairs, as well as an open kitchen with a marble counter. An ingredient-driven approach is evident in starters such as roasted beets with whipped goat cheese and walnut crumble; and charred asparagus with preserved lemon, arugula and Parmesan. For entrées, staples like roasted chicken are freshened up with the addition of kale, crispy artichokes and foie gras jus. The only off notes come from the insipid pop soundtrack, which is not nearly as inspired as the fare.
