Fleming's is known for its Prime beef and steakhouse fare, but it’s equally celebrated for its wine program, which features numerous hard-to-find American boutique selections as well as renowned national and international labels, with 100 wines by the glass and an 80-label reserve list. Appetizers, from house-made burrata to jumbo lump crab cakes, are mostly prepared with a light touch. One could easily make a meal from these alone, but it would be a shame to skip the meaty main attraction. Steaks range from an eight-ounce petite filet to a 22-ounce bone-in rib-eye; those, along with chops, poultry and a standout salmon filet, hardly require the sizable side dishes. If you must indulge, choose the chipotle cheddar macaroni and cheese. To end the meal on a sweet note, try the lava cake.
