Goodman Restaurant Review:

Walk into the large wood-floored and wood-panelled restaurant and you could be excused for thinking you were in New York. But this is a London steakhouse and, surprisingly, it is Russian-owned, an offshoot of Goodman in Moscow. Sink into your dark leather banquette, down an ice-cold vodka and choose from steaks that have been aged in-house and hand-cut. Most of the steaks will set you back £32 to £35 and include grain-fed rib-eye, porterhouse, T-bone and more. It’s well sourced and aged and properly cooked to your liking. All steaks come with a choice of sauce. Of course, you could do the burger or even fish but that misses the point. The wine list ranges far and the sommelier is helpful. Service is good; prices are very reasonable; the atmosphere is welcoming.
