Located on the water, with sweeping harbor views, Gordon Biersch is one of the most reliable of all restaurants in the Aloha Tower Marketplace. Ask about seasonal beer offerings to choose among the brews. Live music most days of the week and football on multiple screens during the season make this a popular place to hang out with friends and enjoy pupus (appetizers). Garlic fries are perfect for sharing. Sesame-crusted seared ahi or miso-glazed mahi or are good choices for lighter fare, or choose from a selection of hearty burgers, pizzas and entrées such as the 14-ounce grilled rib-eye with Gorgonzola butter. Our opinion: All are a tad bit on the salty side to pair well with the handcrafted beers. Guests may also opt for a Caesar salad and pizza, since the menu offers something for everyone. Gordon Biersch has two bars and nearly 400 seats. Considering these facts, service is attentive. There is also a weekday happy hour menu.
