THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Granite Hill Restaurant Review:

Granite Hill restaurant at the Philadelphia Museum of Art brings the verve of its creator --- Starr Restaurant Group --- to artful heights. Gone is the "ladies who lunch" vibe in favor of airy space, modern accoutrements, and a decidedly sophisticated bistro menu. Fresh salads, seasonal vegetables and appetizers, a standout sandwich board, along with fresh fish and grilled items combine for a winning menu. Half of the restaurant is dedicated to a fresh marketplace setting for more casual dining. We recommend the chicken confit salad, the house-blend burger with frites, and crab cakes without a hint of filler. The short but sweet dessert list might include a seasonal fruit item such as a blueberry cobbler, along with chocolate mousse cake accompanied by coffee gelato and a lemon-shortbread "sunflower" tart. Boutique beers, hand-crafted cocktails, a few wines by the glass and an interesting, if somewhat pricey, wine list complete the picture.
