Greek Sneek Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & décor: Tucked away down a hallway, the 2,000-square-foot Greek Sneek is decorated with crystal chandeliers, a wall lined with multi-colored bottles, chairs with floral motifs, white brick walls and a ceiling inlaid with Corinthian tile designs. The restaurant has an open kitchen, and Greek pop music helps to set the mood.

Likes: An unexpected surprise in this classic Greek restaurant is flatbread pizza, of which we recommend the vegetable with grilled zucchini, eggplant, pesto and olives.
Dislikes: The spacious MGM Grand lives up to its name and consequently the restaurant is a bit hard to find, as it is currently not listed on maps in the casino, but following the signs to CRUSH will lead you to the secret entrance.

Food & Drinks: The menu features Mediterranean cuisine as share plates, flatbreads and entrées, many of which are prepared in a wood-fired oven, such as the certifiably Greek baked feta with roasted heirloom tomatoes; and saganaki, wood-fired kefalograviera cheese served with pita bread. A not-to-miss starter is the meatballs, a mix of ground beef, mint and pistachio. Shaved pita sandwiches come in chicken, lamb or steak varieties and are accompanied by tzatziki, fries, tomato and red onion. Two entrée standouts are the feta-stuffed half chicken with broccolini and chicken jus; and rack of lamb with braised kale, cherry tomatoes, mint and port reduction sauce. Desserts well worth saving room for include baklava with vanilla whipped ganache, pistachios and honey drizzle; and sticky toffee cake with toasted pecans, caramel and yogurt sorbet. The wine list is shared with CRUSH, with hundreds of choices from California, France and Italy, and six additional Greek selections, including Macedon 2015 Pinot Noir.
