Italianissimo Ristorante Restaurant Review:

Cue the opera, the candlelit, and the romantic Italian dinner in wine country. Guests can splurge on smoked salmon and scallops, osso buco Milanese and $100 wines, or enjoy a more casual meal of pizza paired with beer. Well-prepared classics include lasagna layered with a meaty Bolognese sauce and creamy béchamel, smoky eggplant Parmigiana and light gnocchi; tender calamari steaks sautéed with butter, lemon and capers; and lamb tenderloin in port wine sauce with fresh mushrooms. Ingredients are sourced locally as much as possible. A dedicated gluten-free menu is also available. The Monday and Friday specials feature different house-made meat selections. A 120-bottle wine list offers something for every palate, at varying prices. Desserts are house-made, from the creamy gelato to airy chocolate mousse and tiramisu.
