J. Christopher's Restaurant Review:


Launched in Marietta in 1997, J. Christopher's is the brainchild of Jay McCann and Chris Brogdon. It has grown to numerous locations, chiefly in the Atlanta area. Each outpost showcases local art, and this one has a large work by Athens-based Steve Penley. The restaurant is bright and cheery. Breakfast offers healthy choices, such as oatmeal or a yogurt parfait, as well as egg dishes. We've enjoyed the Benedict, an omelet, and sometimes just a pair of poached eggs with sausage cream gravy and grits. Biscuits are decent, as is the coffee. Waffles, pancakes and french toast are available, too. For lunch, there are soups (black bean is a regular), salads, burgers, sandwiches and quesadillas. No alcohol.
